I watched SHREK the Movie last Sunday. I like this movie very much!! It was so funny!
This movie’s main character is Shrek. His body is big, green, and very bad-looking. He lives in alone at a pond side house because he looks like a horrible monster and he is hated from everyone. However, he enjoys his living there. I thought it looks really funny because he looks enjoy his freedom. He is hated from everyone, but he is actually lonely, tender monster.
One day, a lot of fairy-tale characters are sold by Lord Farguaad. He dislike fairy-tale, so he was trying to clear them. There are many fairy-tale characters. For example, the wolf in the little Red Riding-hood, the tree pigs, and so on. One donkey was going to be sold. He is donkey that can speak human words. His name is also Donkey. Eddie Murphy plays a voice of Donkey.
That night, they come to Shreck’s house. As for Shrek, they are very annoying, so he go to the castle of the Lord Farguaad to ask return them. He says Shrek that he returns them to a ordinary place instead of the beautiful princess. He has to marry with a beautiful princess for the throne. He decided his wife Princess Fiona. Cameron Diaz plays her voice. She was a very beautiful princess, but she has been shut in the top of the tower. Shrek and Donkey go to the castle, fight with dragon, and at last, they help Princess Fiona!
Shrek think how beautiful she is, but she has a very serious secret. She become a green, bad-looking monster as same as Shrek after the sky get dark. Shrek and Donkey didn’t know that at first. Sherk and Princess Fiona come to love each other.
However, evening, Donkey knows her secret. She says Donkey that she is a bad, ugly monster and she is not good enough for Shrek. At that time, Shrek has gone to pick some flower for the Princess Fiona. But he hears these talks by accident. He misunderstands that she is talking about him. He through flowers and their love seemed to have greeted the end. Of course, she was talking about herself and it is Shrek’s misunderstand.
Morning came, Fiona transformed herself into a beautiful princess and she goes to the castle to marry with Lord Farguaad. However, Donkey tells Shrek that you misunderstand it. Shrek know the truth then, and he goes to the castle to bring back Fiona. He kissed Fiona, and she return to the green and ugly monster. Even if she becomes the ugly monster, she feels happy because their love accomplished. They come to live pond side house, and live happily forever.
My favorite character is Donkey. He is funny, chatty, meddlesome donkey. If there is Donkey in the real world, I want to make friends with him. I think that I can regain my spilt immediately if there is him even if I am depressed. Donkey and Dragon that donkey fought at the castle married later. I didn’t know that dragon is a lady!!
There are a lot of wonderful CG animated cartoons now, but I was surprised its skill when I watched this movie for the first time. Expressive character, a drop of water which seems real water… I amazed that!
I already watched SHREK2 and SHREK3. I like SHREK2 the best. Because my favorite character increase! He is the cat which wore boots. I love him very much!!

movie review 5 School of Rock
I have a lot of DVD, and I have this too. I do not watch many comedies, but I like this movie very much.
Jack Black plays the leading character, Dewey. He is a Rock maniac and he pretends to be a substitute teacher and deceive students and form a band to take part in the rock music contest. It is an illogical story but it is very interesting!! Dewey continues telling students a lie to be believe he is a real teacher. Jack Black is acting very well and he pleased me very much. I think this movie to be able to roar with laughter in the whole family. There are some realistic lines, but as a story goes, I was riveted to the picture. They pleased me from beginning to the end.
The performance scene on the stage was very impressed and it was also excited. Truthfully, I came to cry a little on that scene. I laughed at ending too.
My ideal teacher is a person like him. It was so emotional that the students come to become fresh though they were not fresh in any way.
I like the principal too. I think she is pretty woman because she against the students play rock music, but she actually loves rock music! I want to the teachers like them.

movie review 4 Mrs. Doubtfire
I watched “Mrs. Doubtfire” on last Saturday. Robin Williams plays Daniel who is father of three children in this movie. He got Actor in a Leading Role Award with Academy Award. I think he is a good actor!!
One couple is going to divorce in this movie. The reason why they are going to divorce is the husband can’t become an adult and his wife got tired of him.
Daniel can’t meet his children during a divorce procedure, but he want to meet them! Therefore, he comes up with an idea that he disguises in a homemaker and come in his former wife’s house. His disguised as a woman and his look which struggled for the housework that he was not used to was very interesting. On the other hand, there is some dark point like divorce court and a suffering of children who was separated from their parent I can learn the cost of divorce. Daniel’s thought for his children and the bold action gives me laugh and emotion.
A little selfish husband and his former wife come to understand each other little by little through an imaginary parson “Mrs. Doubtfire” and they greet bittersweet happy ending last.
I think Robin Williams plays very well in this movie, but its script is also good. I will be able to laugh even is I watch it how many times from now on. This story also teaches me the reality of the divorce in U.S.A.

movie review 3 Romeo and Juliet
I have watched this movie a lot of times before because I like its story very much. It’s a very tragic love story, but it is also beautiful.
This “Romeo and Juliet” was taken by Baz Luhrman whom I like the best. His movies are each lively and he is good at make a tragic love story, I think. Beauty and the same as the original even if he changes the story’s era to the present day.
Main characters are Romeo Montague, Juliet Capulet, Mercutio, Tybalt, Paris, Romeo’s parents, and Juliet’s parents. Romeo is son of Montague and Juliet is the daughter of Capulet. Mercutio is Romeo’s best friend. Tybalt is Juliet’s cousin. Paris is the governor’s son and he wants to marry Juliet.
The story begins with the sheen of the quarrel of Montague family and Capulet family. Both family are rich and do not get along with each other from ancient times. Romeo and Juliet fell in love without noticing that they are each enemies. The sheen witch they meet for the first time is very romantic. When Romeo was watching at the fish of the water tank, his eyes matched somebody from the other side of the water tank. It was Juliet’s eyes. I think it’s so romantic, silent, beautiful scene. They fall in love by an instant and they kissed. I like their exchange at that time. Juliet said that Thus from my lips, by thine, my sin is purged. Romeo replied that sin from my lips? O trespass sweetly urged! Give me my sin again. And they kissed again. After that, they know that his/her lover is the enemy.
That night, Romeo goes to Capulet’s mansion to meet Juliet. This scene’s words are very famous, beautiful, and romantic! These words are spoken in archaic word. It’s easy to understand to me because I have watched this movie in Japanese translate before and I have also read the original, but I may not understand these lines if it was the first time that I watched this movie.
Next morning, Romeo went to Father Laurence. He was the father who did not seem to be a father because he has a tattoo of the cross to his back and he drank liquor from morning and wore aloha shirt, but he is a good man.
Romeo and Juliet married in the morning by Father Laurence’s help. However, Romeo killed Tybalt because he killed Romeo’s best friend Mercutio after the wedding. The fate of Romeo and Juliet turn bigger after that. Romeo is banished from the country, and Juliet is going to be married off to Paris forcibly by a parent. She hated the marriage with Paris and visited Father Laurence. He suggested an idea for Juliet, but it didn’t succeed by destined mischief. Finally, they are died. It was very sorrowful scene. If Romeo read the letter, if his friend did not see Juliet’s false funeral, and if Juliet woke up early in on second more, they would be happy. There are many “if”.
They died, but the death was drawn very beautifully by Baz Luhrmann. I really like him. His movie attracts us by unforgettable screen constitution and the usage of the color. I think that nobody but him can depict the death filled with sadness and beauty.
Juliet gives a ring witch is carved “I love thee” to Romeo when he killed Tybalt. Actually, it is carved with "I love thee" on the ring which I got from a boyfriend.

movie review 2 KILL BILL
Tomorrow night, I watched “KILL BILL” before I go to bed. After I begin watching, I think it’s not good time to watch movies like this because it was too violent. My stomach was going to spit the entire dinner witch I ate on that night.
The story begins the scene that one woman has been assaulting by Bill and he shot her head. She has got pregnant of Bill’s baby. I feel very I’m sorry about that.
Then, scene changed. (this movie was divided the six chapters)
Chapter 1 is about heroine’s second revenge. Uma Thurman is playing this heroine. In this movie, her name wasn’t talked. She was trying to kill a woman who was the one of the assassins. Her name is Vanita Green. She was killed in front of her child. I think her girl is so poor…
The next chapter is about past of heroine. Date ascend to 4 years before. Nine people who attend the marriage include heroine were killed by The Deadly Viper Assignation Squad but heroine survived. She has been in bed for 4 years. When she recovers her consciousness, her baby has gone. When she cried saying my baby… I almost cried too. After ran away from the hospital, she began killing her enemy. Her first target was O-Ren Ishii. She is a half-blood Japanese-Chinese American and the top of the Japanese gangster. Her birth was drawn by animation. I think it is worthy to Japan. Heroine fought with wonderful sword which made by Hanzou Hattori. He is working at Sushi restaurant usually but his true face is skillful workman of Japanese sword. I love his spirit like samurai!!
Chapter 5 is the fighting of heroine and O-Ren. It was so breathtaking scene but also it was grotesque. I couldn’t watch everything… Finally, heroine killed O-Ren, her first revenge succeeded.
Her targets are 6 people. First one was O-Ren, second is Vanita. And last target is Bill. He is the leader of The Deadly Viper Assignation Squad. In this movie, heroine didn’t kill her all target, so story goes on KILL BILL 2. This is very violent movie for me but I’ll try to watch the continuance if my stomach’s condition is good.
Why I want to watch the continuance, because in the last scene, Bill said a surprising thing. It’s about heroine’s baby. He (or she) is still living!!

movie review 1Toy Story
This is one of my favorite movies. I have watched this movie again and again when I was a primary school student. At that time, I remember that I was surprised at tree- dimensional cartoon film very much. There is a lot of CG animation now, but I feel this movie still fresh!! Characters of this movie are pretty, and the settings of this story is very natural and we enjoy this movie very much.
My favorite scene is the last scene. Woody and Buzz was trying to catch up with truck. They are very pretty! It was very funny. In addition, in the scene where they flew in the sky, I almost cried unintentionally because a while ago, Buzz didn’t know about he is a toy and he was thinking that he can fly. Actually, he can’t do such a thing. I thought that it is wonderful to do such a way of ending.
I like Stinky in all character most. In Toy Story 2, he play an active part than Toy Story 1. I bought a money box like him. It is very cute!!
